Mahira Khan Drama Career:

She started her career as a VJ on MTV Pakistan. She hosted a show named Most Wanted. Then she went to host Aag TV’s show Weekends With Mahira where she used to play music videos and talk to celebs in 2008. Mahira then got her cinematic debut with Bol. Bol was directed by Shoaib Mansoor and Mahira played the supporting role of Ayesha opposite singing star Atif Aslam. Same year she made her debut in drama industry with Mehreen Jabbar’s Neeyat oppositeHumayun Saeed. Then came the big break for Mahira Khan which made her the biggest star in Pakistan. She played the lead role in Sarmad Khoosat’s Humsafar. She played the role of Khired Hussain; an innocent small town girl who goes through a lot of difficulties at the hands of fate. Mahira’s pair with co-star Fawad Khan was immensely loved by the audience and the drama proved to be a career milestone for both the lead actors. With Humsafar’s success Mahira went on to work with Sarmad again in Shehr e Zaat. She won many awards for her performance in Shehr e Zaat. That same year Mahira went back to hosting. She hosted a show named TUC The Lighter Side Of Life where she invited many celebrities and interviewed them. Her next project was Sadqay Tumharay which also aired on HUM TV. She went back to movies with Bin Roye which was also turned into a drama. She paired opposite Humayun in Bin Roye after Neeyat.
